Chapel Hill Eyecare is also excited to offer the new Shamir Autograph II!
The Autograph II lens uses patented eye point technology which determines where the patient looks and places any distortion away from that area. This technology is a truly individualized progressive or single vision lens that is made to order. All other lenses have a fixed design, meaning the progressive is placed in the lens prior to surfacing. In true free form technology, they begin with a single vision blank and create the progressive for each individual patient; it is said to be as unique as a fingerprint. This technology allows the production of lenses that are superior in accuracy to the nearest 0.01 of a diopter. This process provides the highest detail vision available on the market today.
These lenses are fantastic for patients who:
